Shanghai to Host Inaugural International Advanced Air Mobility Expo this July

Shanghai is set to host the first International Advanced Air Mobility Expo (IAAME) from July 23 to 26 at the National Exhibition and Convention Centre (Shanghai).
The announcement was made on July 8th by the 2025 International Advanced Air Mobility Expo Organising Committee during a pre-exhibition press conference in Shanghai.
The expo will feature nearly 300 leading global enterprises from across the low-altitude industry, showcasing revolutionary breakthroughs in low-altitude technology. Attendees can expect to see a diverse range of innovations, from "air ambulances" and "air taxis" to hydrogen-powered drones.

Highlights of the Expo:
- Exhibitors: The expo will attract major players in new energy and intelligent industries, focusing on drone and electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft research and application. Notable participants include DJI, Proyoo, Norinco Group, Tengden Technology, China Post Express Logistics, United Aircraft, Volant Aerotech, and Hefei Heyi. Traditional general aviation industry leaders such as East China Air Traffic Management Bureau, AVIC Computing Institute, AVIAGE SYSTEMS, AOSSCI, Dassault Systèmes, and Leonardo will also be present.
- Global and National Debuts: Spanning 60,000 square meters (645,835 square feet), the exhibition will feature over 19 international product debuts and 25 national product debuts, painting a vivid picture of future life shaped by low-altitude capabilities.
- Innovative Technologies on Display:
- United Aircraft Group's Lan Ying R6000 Tiltrotor Aircraft: Dubbed the "Transformer of Urban Air Mobility," this independently developed aircraft can perform diverse missions in challenging terrains and confined urban spaces.
- HiTS's H100 Hydrogen-Powered Drone: This "Cold-Resistant Low-Altitude Hercules" can carry a 220-pound (100-kilogram) payload and operate for two hours in extreme cold as low as -31 degrees Fahrenheit (-35 degrees Celsius).
- Xingkang Drone Industry Development Group Co., Ltd.'s ES1000 Ultra-Short Take-off and Landing Large Unmanned Transport Aircraft: This "Air Express" solution addresses the "last 1,000 kilometers" logistics challenge, capable of take-off and landing within 328 feet (100 meters) on various surfaces like gravel, soil, and grass.
- Guanyi General Aviation's GA20 Aircraft: The first normal-category general aviation aircraft with independent intellectual property rights from a private enterprise in China.

The exhibition will feature advanced low-altitude vehicles like eVTOL aircraft and intelligent logistics drones, offering interactive experiences such as physical displays and simulated rides.
